1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFor the three standout picks in Prime Video’s December 2025 slate, consider The Phoenician Scheme (advertised for December 5), Fallout season 2 (December 17), and Sinners (December 26). These are historical U.S.-oriented schedule dates, not a guarantee that any title is available now or in every country.
Tom’s Guide’s December 3, 2025, article called the slate “62 movies and shows,” but that headline count also sits alongside live sports programming and is not a verified count of distinct film and series titles. Amazon’s separate UK announcement advertised 17 releases for that market, underscoring that Prime Video schedules vary by region.
Three Prime Video picks for December 2025
The three choices suit different moods: a stylized espionage comedy, a returning post-apocalyptic series, and a vampire horror-drama. Their December dates are those advertised in Tom’s Guide’s U.S.-oriented schedule, last updated December 3, 2025.

The Phoenician Scheme: for offbeat espionage
Wes Anderson’s black comedy centers on Zsa-zsa Korda, a wealthy arms dealer played by Benicio del Toro, and his estranged daughter Sister Liesl, played by Mia Threapleton. The ensemble also includes Michael Cera, Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, and Benedict Cumberbatch. Its December 5 date makes it the earliest of these three advertised picks.
Fallout season 2: for a return to the wasteland
The second season continues the story of Lucy and her father Hank after the first season’s closing confrontation, with Lucy, Maximus, and the Ghoul among the central characters. The journey heads through the Mojave toward New Vegas. Amazon’s May 2025 announcement confirmed a December premiere window and described that destination; Tom’s Guide gave December 17 as the schedule date. Since this is season two, viewers new to the series may want to start with season one.

Sinners: for vampire horror and drama
Michael B. Jordan plays twin brothers Smoke and Stack, who leave Chicago to open a juke joint in rural Mississippi. A sinister presence threatens the opening night. The film’s horror premise is paired with dramatic and romantic elements, making it the most overtly genre-driven film among these three picks.
What else was on the December schedule?
The broader lineup mixed older catalog films, recent releases, original programming, series, and live sports. Among the named additions were Supernatural seasons 1–15, Surely Tomorrow, The Game Awards, Human Specimens, Miss Sophie – Same Procedure as Every Year, Oh. What. Fun., Merv, Tell Me Softly / Dímelo Bajito, Joker: Folie à Deux, The Creator, A Minecraft Movie, and The Naked Gun. The schedule also included NBA games, Thursday Night Football, ONE Championship, and Good Sports. For the full date-by-date list, consult Tom’s Guide’s December schedule.

Dates and availability depend on region
These dates describe a past schedule, not a live catalog. Amazon’s official announcement said Oh. What. Fun. would premiere December 3, while another U.S. list placed it on December 2; such discrepancies can reflect revised schedules or different release-date conventions. For the official announcement and its stated date, see About Amazon.
Regional catalogs differ as well: About Amazon UK’s December 2025 announcement described 17 new releases for the UK. Check the Prime Video catalog for your location rather than assuming a U.S. schedule applies elsewhere. Amazon says Prime Video comes with Prime membership and offers add-on subscriptions for other services, but that does not establish whether a specific title is currently included in a particular market.
