The report, published May 9, described her as pregnant with her third child and noted that opening statements in Sean “Diddy” Combs’s federal trial were scheduled to begin four days later, on May 12.
What the May 7 sighting report said
PEOPLE’s May 9, 2025, article, syndicated by AOL, placed Ventura outside a friend’s brownstone in New York City on Wednesday, May 7. It described her as 38 and pregnant with her third child at the time. Those details refer to the date of the report; they do not establish her present circumstances.
The article described her clothes as a light grey sheer sweatshirt and white linen pants. It did not identify a designer, brand, or specific product, so the description is not enough to identify or shop for an exact outfit.
Why the timing drew attention
The reported appearance came during the lead-up to Combs’s federal trial. PEOPLE/AOL said jury selection began May 5 and opening statements were scheduled for May 12, four days after the sighting. The article described Ventura as a government witness expected to testify.

Those are the article’s contemporaneous descriptions of the case, not findings established by Ventura’s appearance. The sighting report does not provide a current update on the trial.
What the report said about Ventura’s past statement
In recounting the public context, the article reproduced a line attributed to Ventura’s May 2024 Instagram post: “The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning,” she wrote. The quotation is presented as PEOPLE/AOL reproduced it; the report is not an independent verification of the original post.
