Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves are planned to launch worldwide together in 2027, exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. No exact release date has been announced, so the games are not yet tied to a particular month or day.
When do Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves come out?
The Pokémon Company has announced a simultaneous worldwide release in 2027. Its official announcement gives no exact date. Nintendo’s launch schedule also cautions that launch dates and titles are subject to change.

Which console will the games be on?
Both games are announced exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. The announcement does not list an original Nintendo Switch version, so players should not assume the games will run on that console.
What are the games about?
The announcement describes an open world of windswept islands and a vast ocean, with Pokémon living in ecosystems shaped by the region’s lush environment. Players will team up with Pokémon to face challenges and forces of nature. A full list of gameplay mechanics has not been announced.
