P!nk added a second Perth date to her Summer Carnival tour on February 17, 2023: a show at Optus Stadium on March 2, 2024, joining the previously announced March 1 concert. The extra date was announced ahead of the scheduled noon Perth-time start of general ticket sales. The concerts have since taken place.
When was the extra Perth show announced?
Live Nation announced the additional date on February 17, 2023, hours before general tickets were scheduled to go on sale at noon local time, according to PerthNow’s report that day. The report connected the announcement to presale activity but did not publish a ticket-demand figure. Its headline’s phrase “enormous demand” should therefore be understood as framing, not a quantified claim.
What were the Perth dates and venue?
| Date | Status in the schedule | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| March 1, 2024 | Originally announced Perth date | Optus Stadium |
| March 2, 2024 | Additional date announced February 17, 2023 | Optus Stadium |
The official Australian tour announcement listed Optus Stadium on March 1 as the Perth stop; PerthNow’s contemporary report documented the later-added March 2 date. The original schedule and P!nk’s statement about the tour appear in the Allianz Stadium / Venues NSW announcement.
What did the ticket announcement mean for buyers?
The noon Perth-time general-sale start was a scheduled time reported on February 17, 2023—not a current ticket offer. Both 2024 concerts are historical, and a ticketing page containing archived event information does not establish that tickets remain available. Ticketmaster Australia’s P!nk artist page includes historical Summer Carnival 2024 information, but it does not confirm present availability for these Perth shows.

Why did the announcement coincide with Trustfall?
The extra-show announcement came on the release date of P!nk’s album Trustfall, February 17, 2023. The Allianz Stadium / Venues NSW announcement said the album was available that day via RCA Records. In the same announcement, P!nk described Australia as her “home away from home” and said she looked forward to singing with fans “until our cheeks hurt.”
What was known about demand?
PerthNow said the extra date followed presale activity, but gave no count of tickets sold, requests, or fans seeking tickets. The report also recalled that P!nk performed four sold-out Perth Arena shows in 2018, with a combined audience of about 60,000; that is a figure reported by PerthNow, not an independently verified attendance total here. Neither detail supplies a numerical measure of demand for the 2024 stadium concerts.
