Her account describes moving the aircraft on the ground after rehearsal and instruction from its pilots, not taking off or flying it. The scene is reported to be at the start of episode 2, rather than episode 1.
What did Karolina Wydra actually do with the plane?
Wydra, who plays Zosia, said she really taxied the C-130 shown in the series. In an interview attributed to Collider and republished by Head Topics, she said: “I love saying this — I got to taxi the C-130, for real.” Slashfilm separately reports the same account and attributes it to Collider.

Taxiing means moving an aircraft along the ground. The reported account does not say Wydra took off, flew the C-130, or held a pilot qualification. It is her account as reported in entertainment coverage, not an aircraft operator’s record or an official production document.
How did the taxiing scene happen?
Wydra said the pilots were initially unsure about letting her do it, citing insurance concerns. After a day of rehearsal, they explained how the aircraft worked—including its buttons and engines—and let her taxi it. She described the experience as “really incredible” and said, “I’ll never get to do that again, you know?”

The reporting places the plane sequence at the start of episode 2, where it introduces Wydra as Zosia. The interview appeared in the context of the launch of the first two episodes; that launch context may explain why some coverage frames the story as premiere coverage. It does not place the scene in episode 1.
