The 2026 PrideFEST parade is scheduled for Saturday, 28 November. After it, Pride WA lists a free parade after-party at Russell Square; The Court is promoting a separate, ticketed 18+ Pride Street Party on James Street, also on 28 November. The Court’s event is listed to start at 7 pm. The old “this Saturday” headline refers to the 2025 event, not an upcoming date.
What is happening on 28 November 2026?
Pride WA’s PrideFEST 2026 announcement lists the parade for 28 November and describes a free parade after-party at Russell Square, presented by the City of Perth. The announcement says further details will follow.
Separately, The Court is advertising its Pride Street Party, “Afterglow,” on James Street. Its Oztix ticket listing gives Saturday, 28 November 2026, a 7 pm start and an 18+ age restriction. The Court’s event page says the party is subject to relevant approvals.
How the two events differ
| Event | Organizer or venue | Location | Admission and age | Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PrideFEST parade after-party | Pride WA, presented by the City of Perth | Russell Square | Listed as free; 2026 age and supervision conditions are not stated | Not stated in the current announcement |
| Afterglow Pride Street Party | The Court | James Street | Ticketed; Oztix lists the event as 18+ | 7 pm start, according to Oztix; end time not stated |
These are distinct events. Pride WA calls the Russell Square gathering its parade after-party; The Court promotes its own street party. The sources reviewed do not identify The Court event as Pride WA’s official after-party.

The Court’s event promotion lists headline DJs and resident favourites, drag performers and special guests, a silent disco arena, a glitter bar and street eats. Named performers are Blusher, Joanne, Fay Rocious, Donna Kebab and Cougar Morrison.
The Court describes James Street as the street-party location and says it is “shutting down James Street.” That promotional wording does not establish the boundaries or extent of any road closure. The venue’s general address is 50 Beaufort Street, Perth WA 6000; check event information for the specific entrance and operating arrangements.

Tickets, access and travel details
Check the Oztix listing for current ticket availability and release details. Ticket releases and prices can change, so a cached price should not be treated as current. The event listing is marked subject to relevant approvals.
The current event pages reviewed do not establish final road closures, transport instructions, accessibility arrangements or a complete operating plan for either 2026 event. Check the organizers’ event pages close to the date for updates, and do not assume that all of Northbridge or the parade route will be closed because of the James Street promotion.

Why “this Saturday” is out of date
The wording comes from a PerthNow headline published on 27 November 2025 about the party planned for Saturday, 29 November 2025. Its performers, schedule and ticket prices describe that past event, not the 2026 program. PerthNow’s historical report is available here; it does not provide a 2026 attendance figure.
