Which son did Richard Harrison leave out of his will?
It was Christopher Harrison. In July 2018, The Blast reported details from court records it said it obtained: an earlier will named Richard Harrison’s wife and all three of his sons as beneficiaries, while a 2017 update intentionally excluded Christopher and his issue.

The will language quoted in news reports said: “I would like to express my love and affection” for Christopher, but that Harrison had “intentionally and with full knowledge failed to provide for him and his issue.” The original signed will is not among the sources available here, so the wording and document history should be understood as reported by news outlets, not as a direct examination of the filing.
What did the family say?
USA TODAY’s report, reproduced by WSB-TV, said family representative Laura Herlovich confirmed Christopher’s exclusion. Rick Harrison, speaking through Herlovich, said: “The family had previously discussed this information and it is a private matter.”

Why was Christopher left out?
The reports do not establish a reason. The quoted will language states the omission was intentional, but does not explain the circumstances behind it. Rick’s public response characterized the subject as private. There is no substantiated basis in these reports to claim a particular family dispute, estrangement, or motive.
How much was Richard Harrison’s estate worth?
The Blast reported that the filing did not state the estate’s value. The reporting therefore does not establish how much Harrison’s estate was worth. Net-worth estimates elsewhere should not be treated as the value of the estate or as figures confirmed by the reported filing.

Who was Richard “Old Man” Harrison?
Harrison was known to viewers as the “Old Man” on HISTORY’s Pawn Stars. The network’s biography of Richard Harrison says he opened Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in 1988 and died on June 25, 2018.
HISTORY listed a tribute episode, “A Treasure Remembered,” as airing on June 27, 2018. The episode description says Rick, Corey, Chum, and shop colleagues remembered Richard; see HISTORY’s episode listing.
