Allen was discussing Swift’s work as a songwriter when he said that he rolls his eyes at her haters. The transcript fragment records him praising her ability at her job, including the phrase “she’s good, she’s good, she’s good at it.” These are Allen’s comments about Swift; the cited transcript does not show Kelce defending her.
The transcript is disfluent, and its exact wording should be treated cautiously unless checked against the audio. The central distinction, however, is clear in the available material: the speaker is Allen, not Kelce.
#1 Best Overall
- The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th
Did Kelce hint that he and Swift will live in New York?
No such hint from Kelce is established by the cited material. Allen said, “I hate to say it, but I feel like New York is gonna be more of their home base after Travis retires.” That sentence is Allen’s prediction about the couple’s future, not a statement by either Kelce or Swift.
The transcript and episode listing cited here do not confirm that the couple chose New York, announced a move, or settled on a post-retirement home base. The headline’s implication of a confirmed hint therefore goes beyond what this source supports.
Rank #2
- Taylor Swift's 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, will be released worldwide October 3, 2025
What the episode does—and does not—establish
- Established: Allen praised Swift’s work and said he rolls his eyes at her critics.
- Established: Allen speculated that New York might become the couple’s home base after Kelce retires.
- Not established: That Kelce made either remark, or that Kelce and Swift confirmed plans to live in New York.
The episode is a podcast discussion, not a direct interview with Kelce in which he makes the quoted comments. Its remarks should be attributed to the person who said them rather than converted into a statement from the couple.
