The sailing is scheduled for 22–25 October aboard Carnival Splendor, but the organizer currently lists it as sold out.
What is HELLBOUND 2026?
HELLBOUND is a heavy-music festival at sea promoted by Choose Your Cruise and Destroy All Lines. The event page says it will “play home to 3,000 heavy music fans,” an organizer-stated planned audience figure. Rolling Stone Australia’s 2025 announcement described the ship as hosting over 2,500 passengers; that is a separate media description of ship capacity, not the same measure.
The three-night sailing is scheduled to leave Sydney on Thursday 22 October and return Sunday 25 October 2026. Carnival Splendor is the vessel, and the organizer’s FAQ identifies Sydney Overseas Passenger Terminal as the departure point. Friday and Saturday are sea days, with no port calls, allowing two full days of festival programming, according to the organizer.
Who is playing?
Parkway Drive leads the announced bill. The lineup also includes Polaris, Northlane, The Butterfly Effect, Make Them Suffer, In Hearts Wake, Belle Haven, Bloom, CHEZ, Diamond Construct, Future Static, Ocean Sleeper, Reliqa, The Beautiful Monument, The Gloom In The Corner, To The Grave and Windwaker. Taking Back Saturday DJs and stage host MANOV are also announced.

The event page describes a custom-built main stage on the pool deck, with viewing points across three decks. Scheduled artist performances are general admission and included in the fare; some separately arranged artist experiences may require an add-on ticket. The published information does not establish reserved seating or a final performance schedule.
When does the cruise leave and return?
Choose Your Cruise’s FAQ lists departure from Sydney Overseas Passenger Terminal at 3:30 pm on Thursday 22 October 2026, with return scheduled for 6:30 am on Sunday 25 October. Those are the organizer’s published times and may change; check its current event information before making travel plans.

What should guests know about travel and the fare?
Getting to and from the ship
The organizer recommends that guests flying to Sydney arrive on Wednesday 21 October, the night before departure, to reduce the risk of a flight delay causing them to miss the ship. Check-in is listed as beginning at approximately 11 am and closing 30 minutes before departure; the FAQ says late guests cannot board after check-in closes.
For the return, the FAQ estimates guests will be ashore by 9:30 am on Sunday and recommends booking flights from 11 am onward to allow for disembarkation and travel to the airport. These are planning recommendations, not guarantees of arrival or disembarkation times.

What the fare includes
The FAQ says the fare includes accommodation, standard dining, entertainment and scheduled HELLBOUND artist performances, general gratuities, port charges and government taxes. It excludes airfare, transfers, travel insurance, personal expenses, alcoholic and specialty beverages, optional shore excursions, and artist experiences beyond scheduled performances. Specialty restaurants and some shipboard activities may also cost extra.
The FAQ’s pricing is in Australian dollars and was described as subject to change. Since the event page currently marks the sailing sold out, old prices should not be treated as currently available booking rates.

Packing and show access
The organizer’s advance FAQ lists government-issued identification, a boarding pass, payment method, medication, sunscreen, swimwear and a universal power adaptor among suggested items. It says not to pack power boards, drones or weapons. Because this is advance guidance, check the current organizer and cruise-line rules before travel.
No separate reservation is listed for scheduled artist performances: the FAQ says they are general admission and included in the fare. Certain separately arranged artist experiences may have an add-on ticket requirement.

Is HELLBOUND 2026 still available?
No. Choose Your Cruise currently marks the 2026 sailing sold out. The announcement is still useful for its dates, lineup and format, but it should not be read as an invitation to book a cabin that is no longer listed as available.
