Paradise Season 2 had moved into filming by late March 2025, just weeks after its first-season finale. GamesRadar reported the start on March 29, citing production photos and creator Dan Fogelman’s March 28 post: “We’re baaaaaaack.” That was an early production milestone—not a report of how much of the season had been completed.
What was the “massive leap forward”?
The concrete update was that Season 2 filming had begun. GamesRadar’s March 29, 2025 report cited photos and Fogelman’s post the previous day. The post signaled the team was back at work, but neither it nor the report quantified production progress beyond filming starting. GamesRadar’s production report is the contemporaneous account; it is not a studio production notice.

The update mattered because it arrived soon after Season 1 ended: the series was moving into its next production phase rather than leaving viewers with only an open-ended renewal. The later release confirms Season 2 went on to air, but it should not be confused with what was known from the filming report in March 2025.
When did Season 2 come out?
Season 2 premiered on February 23, 2026. Hulu’s guide lists eight episodes: the first three were released together, followed by new episodes every Monday. Hulu’s series guide provides the episode and release details.

What is Season 2 about?
The story follows two threads. Xavier leaves the bunker to search for his wife, Teri, and to discover how people have survived outside since “The Day.” Inside Paradise, the community faces the aftermath of Season 1 and new revelations about the city’s origins. Disney+’s Season 2 guide describes the season’s setup.
Sterling K. Brown, the series’ star and an executive producer, described the shift beyond the bunker this way in Disney’s April 2, 2026 report: “Now we’re exploring what it’s been like for the rest of the world.”

How did Season 2 perform?
In an April 2, 2026 announcement, The Walt Disney Company said the finale drew 4.3 million global views in its first three days, a season high and 35% above the premiere over the corresponding launch period. Disney also reported more than 13 billion streamed minutes across both seasons “to date” as of that announcement. These are figures reported by Disney, not independent audience measurements. Disney’s audience announcement gives the comparison and its date context.

Hulu lists Paradise as streaming on Hulu. Availability varies by geography.
