PAPATUI is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s men’s care brand. It launched online on March 7, 2024, and has since grown beyond skincare to include body and hair care, tattoo care, fragrance and acne products. The brand says its products are available through its own store, Target, Walmart, Amazon and TikTok Shop, though availability varies by item.
What is PAPATUI?
PAPATUI is a personal-care brand founded by Johnson. The company says its aim is to make men’s self-care simple, effective and accessible. Its range is not limited to beauty or facial skincare: it includes products for the face, body, hair, tattoos and acne, as well as fragrance.
In a January 2026 brand article, PAPATUI explained that “Papa” represents fatherhood, mentorship and legacy, while “Tui” is a Samoan name Johnson’s grandfather gave him, meaning “king.” That meaning is the brand’s own account of its name.
When did PAPATUI launch?
PAPATUI announced its online launch on March 7, 2024. The launch announcement said the products would arrive at Target stores and Target.com on March 10, 2024. The company reported that the line had been developed for more than three years with skincare experts and scientists; that development timeline comes from the brand.

Target’s March 29, 2024 interview described the debut collection as spanning skincare, hair care, body care and tattoo care. The title’s “new” therefore refers to the brand’s 2024 launch, not a 2026 debut.

The acne range
On March 10, 2026, PAPATUI announced its first acne-care range: Acne Fighting Facial Cleanser, Pimple Patches and Acne Fighting Body Spray. The brand says its cleanser is sulfate-free and formulated with 2% salicylic acid, and that the range was available nationwide at Target at the time of announcement. The brand is presented for men, but that does not mean its products are unsuitable for other users. In its launch interview, Target said the line was intended for men while noting that it could appeal to women as well.
