What the statement does—and does not—say
The named cause is dilated cardiomyopathy. Severe coronary artery disease is described separately as a significant condition. The statement does not identify coronary artery disease as the primary cause, and it does not describe the death as a heart attack.
The statement attributes its information to the Clark County Coroner’s official report. The full report is not included in the statement, so its additional findings are not established by that public announcement.
