Our Little Secret had a hit opening on Netflix: it debuted at No. 1 worldwide with 32.4 million views for the week of November 25, 2024, according to Netflix’s weekly report. That figure describes one week—not the film’s lifetime audience or its popularity today.

How it compares with other holiday movies
For viewers choosing something for a Christmas watchlist, TIME’s holiday-movie guide suggests Christmas Vacation, Anyone But You, Four Christmases, and Happiest Season as comparison picks. These are editorial recommendations, not claims that the films share the same genre or plot.

What to expect from its reception
Netflix’s view count measures viewing activity, not whether audiences or critics agreed about the film. A public Reddit discussion includes both positive comments about its cozy holiday tone and cast and criticism of its script, romance, or chemistry. That thread is anecdotal, not a representative audience survey. One commenter asked whether the script and film seemed AI-created; that question is a viewer’s impression, not evidence that AI was used.
