These five Anitta collaborations make a strong, subjective starting point: they span different career eras and show how Brazilian funk can meet reggaeton, dance music and global pop. They are not a definitive ranking—or a claim that these are her five biggest songs.

5. “Double Team” — Anitta, Brray and Bad Gyal
From Funk Generation, “Double Team” is a later-career, multilingual collaboration grounded in funk carioca. Universal Music Brasil describes the song as inspired by funk carioca and performed in a mix of Spanish, Portuguese and English: Universal Music Brasil’s Funk Generation announcement.
How the songs fit Anitta’s wider career
Anitta’s collaborations are part of a broader international career, but their appeal is not simply that they pair her with famous guests. Across Portuguese, Spanish and English, she has worked between Brazilian sounds and international pop contexts. In a GRAMMY.com interview, she discussed both her multilingual work and the sense of entering a new international-market career after years of success in Brazil.

That relationship between roots and reach is especially explicit on Funk Generation. Universal Music Brasil announced the album for April 26, 2024, after the 2023 precursor project Funk Generation: A Favela Love Story. In the announcement, Anitta described the album as a celebration of her roots and of funk from Rio, a genre born in the favelas where she grew up: Universal Music Brasil’s album announcement.

A five-song list can’t cover every side of Anitta’s catalogue. “Switch” with Iggy Azalea, “Bola Rebola” with Tropkillaz, J Balvin and Zaac, and later collaborations beyond this selection are all plausible alternatives. Their omission here reflects the mix chosen—different eras, collaborators and musical approaches—not a judgment that they matter less.
