The Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 1 advance screening took place on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Marunouchi Piccadilly in Tokyo. It was a theater preview with cast stage events and nationwide live relays—not the season’s regular television premiere, which began July 3, 2024.
When and where was the Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 1 screening?
The Japanese official event page scheduled the event under the title “TV Anime Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 1 Advance Screening.” Marunouchi Piccadilly was the main venue, and the two June 30 showings were also relayed live to theaters nationwide, with some theaters excluded.
| Showing | Stage event |
|---|---|
| 13:00 | Stage greeting after the screening |
| 15:10 | Talk event before the screening |
Both schedules and the relay format were listed on the official Japanese event page. The date has passed; this was a one-time event, not a current ticket opportunity.
Who was scheduled to appear?
The announced guests were Takeo Otsuka, Yurie Igoma, Megumi Han, Manaka Iwami and Rumi Okubo. Matsuzawa Neki was listed as the MC. The official page noted that participants could change without notice.

Was this the same screening as the Season 1 revival?
No. The official page also announced a separate theater revival of “Mother & Children,” the extended first episode of Season 1. Its two-week run began June 7, 2024. That revival revisited Season 1; the June 30 event previewed Season 2 Episode 1.
