If a OneStream Live scheduled stream is not appearing on YouTube, first check whether it exists in OneStream’s Streams list, then check the intended channel’s YouTube Studio → Content → Live page. If it appears in Studio but viewers cannot find it, review its privacy setting and use its direct link to test access. These checks separate a missing schedule record from a YouTube visibility issue.
1. Confirm OneStream saved the scheduled stream
- In OneStream, open Streams and look for the broadcast under upcoming streams.
- If it is absent, return to the scheduling flow and make sure you completed the final schedule action. A stream that was configured but not finally scheduled will not be listed as an upcoming stream.
- If it is present, open its edit flow. Review the selected video content, stream details, broadcast details, and scheduled date and time. OneStream documents these as editable parts of the scheduled stream. OneStream’s scheduled-stream instructions were last updated September 21, 2026.
This check answers whether OneStream has a scheduled-stream record; it does not by itself confirm that YouTube has a corresponding event.
2. Verify the connected account and destination
Confirm that the YouTube account connected in OneStream is the channel where you expect the event. OneStream’s YouTube connection instructions direct users to connect the intended account from Social Platforms. During scheduling, also verify that you selected that YouTube destination rather than another connected platform or channel.
- Open OneStream’s Social Platforms area and check the connected YouTube account.
- Return to the stream’s scheduling or edit flow and confirm the intended YouTube channel is selected as the destination.

3. Check whether you scheduled a new broadcast or attached an existing event
These are different workflows. If you meant to use a YouTube event you had already created, verify that you selected that event in OneStream rather than setting up a new broadcast.
- Open the scheduled stream’s edit flow in OneStream.
- For an existing YouTube event, use Existing Event and select the intended event.
- Review the event details, especially privacy and scheduled date and time, then confirm the broadcast is scheduled against that event.

4. Look for the event in YouTube Studio
In the YouTube account for the intended channel, open YouTube Studio → Content → Live and inspect the current and upcoming streams. This helps distinguish “not created on YouTube” from “created, but not visible where I expected.” Check that the scheduled date and time are still in the future and that the event is listed on the correct channel.
YouTube says a scheduled stream “may show up in your subscribers feed as upcoming.” The word may matters: appearance in a subscriber feed is not guaranteed, and a feed or other discovery surface is not a substitute for checking Studio. YouTube Help: Manage live stream settings.

5. Check privacy and test the direct link
A stream can exist without being publicly discoverable. YouTube’s visibility settings determine who can find or watch it:
- Public: intended for general discovery. If the event is public but you cannot find it, verify the channel, schedule, and Studio listing before assuming the event is missing.
- Unlisted: it does not appear in search or the channel’s Videos tab. Anyone with the link can view it, so test with the direct watch link.
- Private: it does not appear in search or on the channel homepage. Access is restricted, so viewers generally cannot find it through public browsing.
For a viewer’s report that the stream is missing, check the event’s privacy in Studio and try the direct watch link. A private or unlisted event may be present even when it is not publicly discoverable. YouTube Help: Manage live stream settings · YouTube Help: Change video privacy settings.

6. Check live-stream eligibility if creation or launch fails
If you cannot create or launch the YouTube live stream, check the channel’s eligibility. YouTube’s live-streaming guidance says the channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. This is a prerequisite to verify, not proof that a particular channel is restricted. YouTube Help: Get started with live streaming.

These checks narrow the issue; the symptom alone does not establish which step failed. If it remains unresolved, note whether the stream appears in OneStream’s Streams list and YouTube Studio’s Live tab, whether you selected an existing event, and what privacy setting is shown. Those details make a support request more actionable.
