Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIf OneStream Live will not connect over Airtel Xstream Fiber, first check whether the problem affects other websites and devices. Then compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet, check upload speed and congestion, and investigate the browser, stream type, or security settings. These tests narrow down where the issue may be; they do not, by themselves, prove its cause.
First, work out what is failing
Try a few ordinary websites on the device running OneStream. Then check another device on the same Airtel Wi-Fi. Airtel’s general troubleshooting guidance recommends comparing devices: if several devices are offline, look at the network; if just one is affected, investigate that device. Airtel’s Wi-Fi troubleshooting guide includes the related symptom “wifi connected but no internet.”
- Several devices and websites fail: Start with the Airtel router/ONT and broadband connection.
- Other websites work, but OneStream does not: Continue with the OneStream, browser, stream-type, and security checks below.
- Only one device has trouble: Focus on that device’s browser, connection, and resource load.
If you can, test OneStream on a phone hotspot or another trusted network. If it works there but not on Airtel, that is a clue that the connection path matters, not proof that Airtel is the cause. The reviewed provider guidance does not establish a current Airtel-specific OneStream outage, a special Airtel configuration, or a required OneStream port or endpoint list.
Check the Airtel router, ONT, and cables
Check that the router/ONT has power, its plugs are secure, and its indicators and Ethernet connections look normal for that model. Airtel’s Xstream Fiber troubleshooting guide distinguishes an RJ45 Cat5/Cat6 network cable, used to connect a computer to the router/ONT, from an RJ11 telephone cable.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Check power and cable connections without tugging on the fiber patch cord.
- If following Airtel’s reboot sequence, disconnect power from the ONT/router and wait until its lights turn off.
- Leave it powered off for 15–20 seconds, reconnect power, and allow the indicators to settle before testing again.
- Use the device’s labels or manual to interpret its lights; models can differ.
The fiber patch cord is delicate: do not pull it, attempt a repair, or bend it sharply. Airtel cautions against acute bends.
Compare Wi-Fi with a wired connection
If possible, connect the computer directly to the Airtel router/ONT using an RJ45 Ethernet cable. OneStream recommends wired connectivity for stability in its Studio quality guidance.

Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
- Ethernet works, Wi-Fi does not: Investigate Wi-Fi coverage, router placement, or band choice. Airtel suggests a central router location; 2.4 GHz generally reaches farther, while 5 GHz offers higher speed at shorter range.
- Neither works: Check other devices and websites. If the broader connection is also failing, ask Airtel to diagnose the service.
A Cat5/Cat6 RJ45 cable is an optional diagnostic aid if you do not already have one. It does not repair a fiber line or resolve an Airtel outage by itself.
Measure upload speed and reduce network congestion
Run an upload-speed test while connected to the same network and by the same method you use for streaming. OneStream’s 2026 speed-test guidance recommends at least 10 Mbps upload for real-time streaming or prerecorded-video uploads, with 15 Mbps or higher ideal. Its separate 2026 Studio quality article recommends at least 10 Mbps and calls 25 Mbps or higher ideal. These are OneStream recommendations, not Airtel plan requirements, guarantees, or measured thresholds for every setup.

For a cleaner test, pause large downloads, cloud backups, and other bandwidth-heavy activity. If the measured upload is variable or below OneStream’s recommendation, try again when the connection is less busy or compare Ethernet with Wi-Fi.
Check the browser, device, and stream type
If other services work and the Airtel connection appears stable, identify how you are sending the stream. OneStream Studio, an encoder, and a prerecorded-video stream have different failure points.

For OneStream Studio
- Update the browser or try a different browser.
- Disable unnecessary browser extensions for a test.
- Close demanding applications and check whether CPU load is high.
- If the device is struggling, lower the Studio resolution and test again.
For a prerecorded stream
Use the relevant checks in OneStream’s troubleshooting collection: confirm the video finished uploading and processing, verify that the file is supported, check the schedule and destination credentials, play the media locally, and retry with a test event. These file and scheduling checks do not apply to a live Studio connection unless the issue is actually with a prerecorded stream.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Consider firewall, proxy, or security filtering carefully
OneStream says firewalls, proxies, and other security settings can block connections needed by Studio or streaming features. Its firewall troubleshooting guidance treats temporarily disabling a firewall as a diagnostic test, not a routine fix.

A test on a trusted personal connection may help distinguish a network-path issue. Do not change firewall settings on a work or school device or company-managed network without the administrator’s approval. If an authorized test requires turning protection off, do so only briefly and restore it immediately afterward.
When and how to contact support
- Contact Airtel: Multiple devices or services fail, router/ONT indicators suggest a line problem, or both wired and wireless connections fail. Airtel’s guide points customers to support through Airtel Thanks or broadband support.
- Contact OneStream: Ordinary browsing works, but OneStream continues to fail after sensible checks, especially if it also fails on another trusted network.
Share the time and location of the failure, device and operating system, browser, stream type (Studio, encoder, or prerecorded), whether Ethernet or Wi-Fi was used, the upload-speed result, and what happened on another network. Check with the provider for current outage information; these troubleshooting checks do not establish live outage status.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is to keep a YouTube channel live with uploaded videos, StreamNeo is a separate cloud option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it loops uploaded videos rather than broadcasting from a camera. Any quality up to 4K 60fps streams as uploaded at one price per slot, and the service can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo or start the free day.
