Drive Knight defeats Nyan by changing tactics as the fight evolves: he uses Chariot’s mobility and gadgets, shifts forms to meet direct attacks and aerial movement, then relies on Gold and Silver to overcome Nyan’s most dangerous trick—slipping inside his suit. The chapter is listed as Chapter 116 on VIZ, but other catalogs number the same fight differently.
Why Drive Knight changes forms against Nyan
Nyan’s speed and ability to squeeze into Drive Knight’s body make a single, fixed fighting style a poor answer. Drive Knight instead moves through forms suited to different problems: approaching and disrupting Nyan, answering close combat, attacking from the air, and surviving an attack from inside his armor.

The sequence ends with Nyan subdued after Drive Knight forces it out of his suit, restrains it, and attacks with the Silver form. The available summaries support describing this as a victory, not as proof of Nyan’s permanent death.

Nyan’s attack from inside the suit changes the fight
Nyan’s infiltration is the tactical turning point. It bypasses the usual problem of getting through an opponent’s exterior defense and puts Drive Knight at risk from within his own armor. Gold answers that threat with reinforced protection and heat, forcing Nyan out. Drive Knight then restrains Nyan before using Silver, turning a dangerous internal attack into an opportunity to finish the encounter.
Why the chapter is numbered 116, 118, or 122
Chapter numbers vary by release and catalog system, so they should not be treated as interchangeable edition labels. VIZ identifies the installment as Chapter 116. A secondary online chapter reference labels the fight Chapter 118, while a collected-chapter reference calls it Chapter 122 and places it in Volume 25. If you are searching for the scene, include “Drive Knight vs. Nyan” alongside the number or specify the catalog you mean.
