That is no longer the latest reported status: on September 21, ITR Wrestling said Femi had been moved to Raw. WWE has not publicly defined the free-agent label in the material available here.
What did WWE’s free-agent listing show?
On the morning of February 9, 2026, WWE’s public roster page placed Femi in its free-agent section, according to The Sportster report syndicated by Yardbarker. The report said the section had previously listed only Lesnar and Omos. WrestleTalk also reported the listing that day and noted Femi had appeared on both Raw and SmackDown.
The reports described a visible roster category, not an official WWE policy or explanation. Neither supplied a statement from WWE defining what “free agent” meant for Femi.
Why did the label draw attention?
WrestleTalk observed that recently called-up NXT performers often remained listed under NXT until WWE chose a brand for them. It interpreted Femi’s free-agent listing as a possible indication that he could appear on either Raw or SmackDown. That was the outlet’s inference, not a confirmed WWE booking decision.

The phrase “previously reserved” should likewise be understood as a description in contemporaneous coverage: reports said Lesnar and Omos were the other names in the section before Femi was added. The available reporting does not establish that WWE formally reserved the category for those two wrestlers.
Which brand is Oba Femi on now?
In a September 21, 2026 update, ITR Wrestling reported that Femi had been moved to Raw. This is the latest status report in the sources available here, but it is secondary reporting rather than an independently confirmed live WWE roster-page check. The February free-agent listing should therefore be treated as historical, not as his latest reported assignment.

Who is Oba Femi?
WWE’s official profile identifies Femi as a former track-and-field athlete from Lagos, Nigeria, and lists him at 6 ft 6 in and 302 lb. Those are WWE’s profile details, not an explanation of his roster classification.
The profile lists the 2026 King of the Ring win, two NXT Championship reigns, the 2024 Men’s Iron Survivor, the NXT North American Championship and the 2024 NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament among his career highlights. WWE describes his North American Championship reign as a record 272 days.
