When did Oasis announce the reunion tour?
The band announced the tour in August 2024, bringing Liam and Noel Gallagher back together for live Oasis shows after the brothers’ long-running split. The announcement named five cities: Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin. Its original schedule ran from July 4 to August 17, 2025. Oasis’s announcement document introduced the reunion with the phrase “The great wait is over.”

When did Oasis play Cardiff?
The reunion tour opened at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 4, 2025. The Associated Press reported that more than 60,000 people attended the first show, which began a 19-date UK and Ireland run. AP described a two-hour set drawing heavily on the band’s first two albums. Fan Rob Maule, a 44-year-old attendee from Edinburgh, called the experience “very, very special — emotional.”
AP reported that the band had ended a 16-year hiatus. It also described Oasis as having eight UK No. 1 albums over the course of its career; those figures are AP’s characterizations, not counts from a separately reviewed dataset. Read AP’s report on the Cardiff opening.

Are Oasis reunion tour tickets still available?
No tickets for the completed 2025 tour are presented as currently available: the dates have passed, and the official itinerary marks its listed shows sold out.
The original UK sale drew complaints about long online queues, error messages and prices that rose during the sale, according to AP. Some fans told AP they paid £355 for regular standing tickets after expecting to pay £148. AP also reported that the controversy prompted questions in Parliament and scrutiny from Britain’s competition regulator. These are accounts of complaints and official scrutiny at the time, not a current ticket offer or a finding about every ticket purchase.

Is Oasis Live ’27 the same as the reunion tour?
No. The 2025 UK and Ireland reunion run and Oasis Live ’27 are separate tours. Live Nation announced Live ’27 in September 2026 as a distinct 38-show tour. Its initial registration period was time-limited and, as of October 8, 2026, is historical. For current dates or ticketing information, check the Live Nation announcement and the official Oasis site; do not treat 2025 itinerary listings as Live ’27 dates.
