NYT Strands puzzle #617 for Monday, November 10, 2025, has the theme “A case of the Mondays.” Start with the hints below if you want to solve it yourself; the complete answer list is farther down.

Hints for the November 10 Strands puzzle

  • Theme clue: “A case of the Mondays.”
  • Additional clue: “Steps on the career ladder, perhaps.”
  • Spangram hint: It has 10 letters and, according to TechRadar, runs from the left edge at row 3 to the right edge at row 7.

For the full answer list, continue past the spoiler warning.

How to get an in-game hint

Strands uses a 6-by-8 letter grid. Connect letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to form words; you can change direction as you trace a word. Find three valid words that are not theme answers to unlock a hint highlighting the letters of one theme word. The spangram also uses the grid, names the theme, and touches two opposite sides. Strands.Game describes these mechanics but is not affiliated with The New York Times.

Why some answer listings differ

TechRadar and Forbes both identify OFFICEJOBS as the November 10 spangram and give the same theme-answer set; a date-indexed archive also assigns OFFICEJOBS to that date. A conflicting search-result snippet paired November 10 with LATINMUSIC, but the archive lists LATINMUSIC on November 7. The answer set above reflects the matching November 10 entries.
