In Strands, you can trace adjacent letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, changing direction as needed without using the same tile twice in one word. Words must be at least four letters long. Finding three non-theme words earns an in-game hint that highlights the first letter of a theme word.
TechRadar lists BANK, BRINE, FLOW, SHIFT, TURBO, and WHEY as words that can be played to unlock in-game hints.

Theme words: FISH, CRANE, BOAT, FROG, KITE, BUTTERFLY, HEART, and FLOWER.
