Reveal only as much as you need to keep solving:
- Theme clue: “… not included.”
- Words that can unlock in-game hints: CHILL, TRICK, REAL, CAMEL, GRATE, and MOLE.
- Spangram: It has 17 letters. It touches the left edge at row 8 and again at row 1.
Spoilers: the spangram and answers
The spangram is BATTERIES REQUIRED. The other theme answers are REMOTE, FLASHLIGHT, CLOCK, TOYS, and CAMERA.
Together, the answers suggest the idea of batteries not being included with certain devices or toys. That is the puzzle’s theme interpretation, not a claim about any particular product.
How to play the puzzle
