How Strands hints work
Parade’s account of the New York Times instructions says to make theme words by dragging letters or tapping them, double-tapping the final letter when using taps. Found theme words remain blue. A spangram describes the theme and touches two opposite sides of the board; it can consist of two words. These rules are reported by Parade as NYT guidance; the official Strands page was not directly accessible for confirmation.
