If you want to use the game’s hint system without seeing the answers, try finding these non-theme words in the grid:

- FILL
- SNOW
- SHIRT
- GRIN
- FOLD
Finding three non-theme words unlocks a hint that highlights one theme word. The spangram has 13 letters; it starts at the bottom in the third column and reaches the top in the fourth column. The spangram is SPRING FLOWERS (entered as SPRINGFLOWERS). The six theme words are:
- CROCUS
- DAFFODIL
- HYACINTH
- IRIS
- LILY
- TULIP
The clue’s wording can send players toward water and rain before the spangram clarifies the spring-flower theme. In the April 14 discussion, one player said they had been “looking for water related things”; that is an individual account, not evidence of a common reaction. The player’s Reddit discussion also mentions finding iris after using a hint.
