How to find the puzzle in the NYT archive
The New York Times says its Crossword Archive extends back over ten years and can be navigated by month and year. Archive access varies by subscription: the Help Center says Games and All Access subscribers can use it, while non-subscribers have limited access. To locate this Mini, open the official archive, switch to Mini, select December 2025, and choose December 17.
Playing the Mini
