About the Saturday Mini
The Mini is a short-form version of the larger NYT crossword. Most days use a 5-by-5 grid with three to five clues in each direction; larger grids sometimes appear, especially on Saturdays. According to Forbes’ January 4, 2025 coverage, the Mini was available to play on the New York Times website and NYT Games app, while access to archived puzzles required an NYT Games subscription.
