How to check the grid and play the archived puzzle
NYT describes its crossword as a daily word puzzle in which solvers fill a grid with intersecting words and phrases by answering Across and Down clues. It says, “The New York Times Crossword increases in difficulty from Monday to Saturday, and the larger Sunday puzzle offers a midweek level of challenge in an expanded format.” November 26, 2025, fell on a Wednesday.
The answer list above is attributed to WordDB’s November 26, 2025 entry; it is not represented as an official NYT-verified solution. If you want to check the filled grid against NYT’s own archive, the newspaper says Games and All Access subscribers can view archived puzzles. Its archive page also offers printing, and the printed solution includes answers. The NYT Help Center says Tuesday–Saturday puzzles become available at 10 p.m. Eastern Time the prior day, while Sunday and Monday puzzles become available at 6 p.m. Eastern Time the prior day. Print editions carry daily crosswords Monday through Saturday in the Arts section and the Sunday puzzle in the Sunday Magazine.
