Why the puzzle number is uncertain

Parade’s page for March 8, 2026, identifies the puzzle as #531, but Hintpulse’s maintained archive assigns #531 to March 2 and #537 to March 8. The available sources do not establish the correct number against a primary NYT or The Athletic archive, so the date is the clearer identifier.
