How the trickiest group works
Purple: altered quarterback surnames
Each purple tile differs by its last letter from a Hall of Fame quarterback’s surname: MARINE points to Dan Marino, MOOR to Warren Moon, STABLES to Ken Stabler, and WARNED to Kurt Warner. The shared pattern is a one-letter change at the end of each surname.
