The February 12, 2026, NYT Connections: Sports Edition puzzle is #507. If you want to solve it yourself, start with the spoiler-free hints below; the full four groups and all 16 tiles follow. This is the Sports Edition puzzle, not the regular Connections puzzle published on the same date.
Hints for Connections: Sports Edition #507
Use the clues in order, stopping when you have enough to identify a group.
- Yellow: Think of the Sunshine State; each team is associated with Miami.
- Green: Look for familiar marks on athletic apparel or footwear.
- Blue: These are members of one well-known family.
- Purple: Add the same color word after each tile to make a name or phrase.

How Sports Edition differs from regular Connections
Connections gives players 16 words to sort into four groups of four. Each group has a color, with yellow generally the easiest and purple the trickiest; some words can seem to fit more than one category. The New York Times Help Center describes Sports Edition as the sports version of Connections, brought to solvers by The Athletic.
Sports Edition is available through NYT Games, NYT/The Athletic web access, The Athletic app, and the NYT News app. The Help Center says Sports Edition does not have an archive, so #507 cannot be replayed through the regular Connections archive. The daily game releases at midnight in the player’s timezone, according to the NYT Help Center’s Connections guide.
