How Connections works
Connections asks players to sort words into four categories. TechRadar’s 2024 guide said players could make up to four mistakes and play through NYT Games on desktop or mobile. Those are details from that archived guide; current access conditions are not confirmed here. [TechRadar]
Tom’s Guide’s syndicated guide independently lists the same four answer groups. It also reports a 4.2 out of 5 rating from Connections Companion, a subjective difficulty rating rather than an official NYT score or a population statistic; the rating’s year is not stated.
