Yellow: Good things to get at work

BONUS, EQUITY, PROMOTION, RAISE

Green: Disregard

DISCOUNT, FORGET, IGNORE, OVERLOOK

Here, DISCOUNT is a verb meaning to disregard or dismiss, not just a word for a reduced price.

Blue: Kinds of crackers

ANIMAL, CLUB, GOLDFISH, RITZ

Purple: Featured in “Eloise”

ELOISE, PLAZA, PUG, TURTLE

Why the groups can be tricky

DISCOUNT can look like a shopping term, but this grid uses its verb sense: to dismiss or disregard something. In the blue group, “cracker” covers the named varieties Animal, Club, Goldfish, and Ritz. The purple set refers to elements featured in Eloise, bringing together the title character, the Plaza, a pug, and a turtle.
