How Connections groups are organized

The New York Times Help Center explains that each group is assigned a color, with yellow the easiest category and purple the trickiest. The labels for this grid point to four different kinds of connections: television picture settings, words associated with fuzzy memories, arithmetic vocabulary, and window coverings. In the last group, the words are presented as singular object names.
