Connections asks players to sort 16 words into four groups of four by finding their hidden connections. The puzzle is a daily New York Times word game designed by associate editor Wyna Liu, according to Hindustan Times.

Connections publishes a different puzzle each day, so “August 16” without a year can point to a different answer set.
