#1 Best Overall
Blue: financial abbreviations
APR means annual percentage rate, CFO means chief financial officer, IRA means individual retirement account, and SEC refers to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Purple: backwards animals
Reverse the spelling of each tile to reveal an animal: FLOW becomes WOLF, GOD becomes DOG, MAR becomes RAM, and TAB becomes BAT.
Rank #2
The month-name decoy
JAN, MAR, APR, and MAY resemble month abbreviations, but they do not form a group here. JAN belongs with the nicknames, MAR with the reversed animals, APR with financial abbreviations, and MAY with the possibility verbs. Spotting the reversal rule also makes clear why MAR belongs in the purple set.
