You can pick an APPLE, BANJO, CARD, or NOSE. “Pick” has different senses here: selecting an item, playing a banjo, drawing a card, or picking your nose.

Each word can become a term for personal property by adding an S: BELONGING becomes belongings, EFFECT becomes effects, GOOD becomes goods, and POSSESSION becomes possessions.
