Nukitashi the Animation drew attention for two very different release reports: coverage described its Tokyo MX-1 Japanese TV presentation as audio-only, while a later report announced a U.S. English-dub release. The available reporting does not establish where the dub can currently be watched or what form that release takes.
What is the reported U.S. release?
CBR reported on December 15, 2025, that Nukitashi the Animation was getting a forthcoming U.S. English-dub release. That is an announcement, not confirmation that the dub is now available. The report does not establish a streaming service, release date, or format. CBR’s December 15 report is the source for the U.S. announcement.

Why was the Japanese TV presentation described as audio-only?
Crunchyroll’s November 7, 2025, report says the Japanese broadcast began July 18 and describes the Tokyo MX-1 presentation as audio-only, accompanied by a static placeholder image. This is a report about that channel’s presentation—not evidence that every Japanese broadcast, stream, or later edition used the same format. Read Crunchyroll’s November 7 coverage.
#1 Best Overall
The phrase “censored beyond recognition” in the supplied headline should not be treated as a formal classification or as a verified description of every version. The reporting establishes the unusual Tokyo MX-1 presentation, but does not establish the precise content or presentation of the announced U.S. dub.
Is there a disc edition or a way to compare versions?
The reports cited here do not confirm an authorized U.S. disc release, nor do they document alternative U.S. editions. They also do not specify whether the English dub will be streaming, on home video, or offered in more than one format. A comparison of censorship or presentation across versions would therefore be premature.

What is the source visual novel?
Nukitashi the Animation is adapted from the Nukitashi visual novel. Crunchyroll’s October 3, 2025, coverage identifies the English-language original game as available on Steam. That is a digital game listing, separate from the anime’s U.S. release; it does not establish where to watch the anime or whether physical anime products exist. See Crunchyroll’s coverage of the visual novel.
