Os 10 maiores sucessos do Now United no ranking do POPline
O POPline informou que o Now United havia lançado 19 músicas em 2020 até 2 de dezembro. A matéria classificou dez delas e publicou separadamente as visualizações no YouTube e os streams no Spotify. Os valores abaixo são os números registrados pela publicação naquela data, não contagens atuais.

Portanto, a ordem deve ser entendida como o ranking editorial do POPline, e não como prova de que cada faixa foi mais popular em todas as plataformas.

Os próprios indicadores também não são equivalentes. O YouTube distingue seus gráficos: o Top Songs agrega visualizações de versões oficiais de uma música, incluindo clipes oficiais, streams no YouTube Music, vídeos de usuários com a faixa oficial e lyric videos; o Top Music Videos destaca os vídeos musicais oficiais mais vistos. Já os números do Spotify citados na matéria são streams de áudio. Consulte a documentação do YouTube sobre como os gráficos musicais são calculados e sobre os tipos de gráfico musical.
O que os três primeiros lugares mostram
“Come Together” lidera nos dois indicadores publicados: 50 milhões de visualizações no YouTube e 9,6 milhões de streams no Spotify. “By My Side” aparece em segundo lugar, com 22,1 milhões de visualizações e 5 milhões de streams. “Dana Dana” ocupa o terceiro, com 20,1 milhões de visualizações e 6,1 milhões de streams — mais streams que “By My Side”, embora esteja uma posição abaixo no ranking.

Essa diferença ilustra por que convém manter as métricas separadas: uma faixa pode ter mais streams de áudio e, ainda assim, aparecer abaixo de outra na ordem editorial. Sem uma metodologia documentada para ponderar as plataformas, não é correto somar ou converter esses números em uma classificação independente.

Antes de comparar a ordem do POPline com outra fonte, verifique quando os números foram capturados, qual território está incluído e o que cada métrica conta: vídeos oficiais, reproduções de áudio sob demanda, vendas ou posições em paradas. Os números desta lista são um retrato publicado em 2 de dezembro de 2020, não uma comparação atualizada entre as faixas.
