The Melbourne six-piece named its farewell run “The Final Party” and toured Australia in October and November 2025. Those shows have now passed.
Why Northeast Party House is ending
The band framed its final tour as a chance to thank the people who had supported it. In a statement quoted by ABC triple j, the band said: “We are hitting the road one last time to cap off an incredible 15 year run to say thank you to everyone who has danced, partied, sang, written to us and contributed.” Rolling Stone Australia quoted the band’s announcement: “It feels strange but also right to announce that the year of our 15th anniversary will also be our last.” Neither publication attributes that statement to an individual member.

What were the dates on The Final Party tour?
The five advertised dates in the original announcement were:
| Date | Venue | City and Country |
|---|---|---|
| Friday, October 17, 2025 | Freo Social | Fremantle, Wajuk Country |
| Saturday, October 18, 2025 | The Gov | Adelaide, Kaurna Country |
| Saturday, October 25, 2025 | Factory Theatre | Sydney, Gadigal Country |
| Friday, November 14, 2025 | The Tivoli | Brisbane, Yuggera Country |
| Friday, November 28, 2025 | 170 Russell | Melbourne, Woiwurung Land |
BENSON was announced as support. A separate Moshtix listing records an additional Melbourne show at 170 Russell on Thursday, November 27, 2025. That listing identifies it as a second show; it is distinct from the November 28 Melbourne date in the original itinerary. The events are over: the Moshtix listing is marked passed with sales closed, and Ticketmaster’s artist page showed no upcoming concerts.

How the farewell fits the band’s career
Northeast Party House won triple j Unearthed High in 2010 with “Dust” and released its self-titled EP in 2011. Its album history includes the debut Any Given Weekend, followed by Dare (2016), Shelf Life (2019), and Enhancer (2024). The farewell tour marked the end of the run the band described in its announcement, rather than an upcoming opportunity to see it live.
