Alondra “Nona” González terminó su relación con Kelvin Rentería mientras ambos participaban en Exatlón Estados Unidos All-Stars, según una entrevista reseñada por People en Español el 20 de noviembre de 2023. Nona dijo que no fue una decisión impulsiva y que Kelvin no la lastimó ni la engañó. Una semana después, negó que se lo hubiera comunicado mediante una nota. Las fuentes citadas aquí documentan lo ocurrido en 2023, no el estado sentimental actual de ninguno.
Cuándo se separaron Kelvin Rentería y Nona González
La ruptura se hizo pública en noviembre de 2023, durante la participación de ambos en Exatlón Estados Unidos All-Stars. Según People en Español, Nona, integrante del Team Rojo, tomó la decisión de terminar la relación. La publicación informó que se habían conocido y enamorado en la séptima temporada de Exatlón Estados Unidos, en 2022, y que continuaron juntos después de aquella edición.
En la entrevista con el conductor Frederik Oldenburg, Nona describió la decisión como tomada “tanto con razón como con corazón”. Aclaró que no actuó por impulso y reconoció: “Creo que fue mi error y tomo responsabilidad de eso el poner tantas expectativas en una relación”. También afirmó: “Él no me hizo nada, no me hizo daño, no me engañó”. Estas declaraciones fueron reproducidas por People en Español en su nota del 20 de noviembre de 2023.
Qué dijo Kelvin sobre la ruptura
En la conversación dentro del programa, Kelvin dijo que estaba “un poco confuso” y que respetaba la decisión de Nona. Cuando le preguntaron si estaba sufriendo, respondió que se sentía más bien “un poquito decepcionado”. Son las palabras que la publicación atribuyó a Kelvin; no permiten afirmar más sobre cómo vivió la separación en privado.

¿Nona terminó con Kelvin mediante una nota?
Las versiones públicas sobre cómo se comunicó la ruptura no coinciden. En la emisión, Kelvin dio a entender que la separación había ocurrido por una nota, según la cobertura del 20 de noviembre. Después de ser eliminada del reality, Nona lo negó en una declaración en Instagram reproducida por People en Español el 28 de noviembre: “No lo terminé con una nota, no soy tan inmadura, le di la cara, le di mis razones”.
La cobertura permite distinguir lo que cada uno dijo, pero no verificar de forma independiente cada detalle de la conversación privada. Por eso, lo más preciso es atribuir las dos versiones sin decidir cuál describe todos los pormenores.

Qué se sabe —y qué no— sobre los motivos
Nona habló de las expectativas que había puesto en la relación y asumió responsabilidad por ello. Al mismo tiempo, negó que Kelvin la hubiera engañado o lastimado. La reseña posterior también recogió que aclaró que su comentario sobre un “príncipe azul” no significaba que ya tuviera a otra persona.
Los rumores sobre infidelidad o una tercera persona no están establecidos como hechos por estas declaraciones. Tampoco la información publicada en noviembre de 2023 confirma si Nona y Kelvin volvieron a estar juntos o cuál es su situación sentimental hoy.
