The post’s caption read “forever ❤️” and included “happy anniversary.”
What was in Kidman’s anniversary photo?
PerthNow described the image as showing Kidman and Urban on a limestone wall beside the ocean at sunset. Urban was playing guitar, while Kidman lay beside him. The report did not identify the guitar’s make or model.
Kidman’s reported caption was “forever ❤️,” accompanied by the hashtag “happy anniversary.” The post celebrated the couple’s 18th wedding anniversary. PerthNow’s June 27, 2024 report described the photograph and caption.
What Keith Urban said about their marriage
PerthNow also recalled comments Urban made while paying tribute to Kidman at her AFI Lifetime Achievement Award event. Those remarks were separate from the anniversary post. Reflecting on their marriage, he said, “Here we are tonight, 18 years later.”

Urban also spoke about entering rehab about four months after they married in June 2006. Recalling that difficult period, he said, “I had no idea what was going to happen to us.” He praised Kidman’s support at the AFI event, saying, “Nic pushed through every negative voice, I’m sure even some of her own, and she chose love.” These are Urban’s remarks as reported by PerthNow, not words from the Instagram caption.
How the 2024 post differs from their 2025 anniversary post
The two anniversary posts refer to different milestones and use different images and captions. ABC News reported that Kidman marked the couple’s 19th anniversary in 2025 with a photo of them embracing and the caption “Happy Anniversary Baby ❤️ @KeithUrban.” That is distinct from the limestone-wall sunset image and “forever ❤️” caption reported for 2024.
