Nicholas Hoult said director Robert Eggers sent him Count Orlok’s prosthetic penis, framed, after filming Nosferatu wrapped. The actor recounted the unusual gift while discussing the film with co-star Lily-Rose Depp, according to CBR’s December 24, 2024 report.
What did Nicholas Hoult get from the Nosferatu director?
Hoult said he received a framed prosthetic penis used for Count Orlok, the vampire played by Bill Skarsgård. CBR reported the anecdote from an Elle video featuring Hoult and co-star Lily-Rose Depp. Hoult’s quoted remark was: “I have Count Orlok’s prosthetic penis framed, at home.” CBR’s report

Why was the prop connected to Hoult’s character?
Hoult described a scene in which Orlok is slurping his character’s blood. He said he felt the prosthetic against his leg during the scene. That physical-contact detail is Hoult’s account as reported by CBR, rather than an independently confirmed production detail.
How did the prop become a wrap gift?
Hoult said that after filming, director Robert Eggers had the prosthetic framed and sent it to his home. CBR printed his account: “Then, as a wrap gift, Rob got [the prosthetic penis] framed and he sent it to my house.” The bracketed phrase is CBR’s clarification. The report attributes the story to Hoult; it does not independently verify the private gift.
