New Idea’s February 17, 2025 article attributed the prediction to an unnamed RadarOnline insider. According to that source, Furness saw the relationship as a rebound and thought it would not endure. Because the claim rests on an unnamed source, it should be read as entertainment reporting about what Furness supposedly thinks—not as a verified statement or a reliable forecast of the couple’s future.
What is on the record about Furness and Jackman
Jackman and Furness announced their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage. Their joint statement said: “Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.” They also said the statement would be their sole comment on the breakup. In May 2025, Furness filed for divorce. In a public statement quoted by the Los Angeles Times, she described the experience as a “profound wound that cuts deep” and said she believed in a higher power. The Times reported that she did not elaborate on what she meant by “betrayal.” Those remarks concerned the end of her marriage; they do not confirm the separate claim about what she thinks of Jackman and Foster’s relationship.
