Netflix’s My Happy Marriage season-two finale was delayed because of production delays. A March 20, 2025 report said the season’s 12th episode—episode 25 overall—had no replacement date yet; later coverage gave the finale, episode 26, a new worldwide release date of April 9, 2025.
What happened to My Happy Marriage on Netflix?
The March 20, 2025 ScreenRant report said season two’s 12th episode was postponed because of production delays. That installment is episode 25 across the series. At the time, a new release date had not been announced.
Later coverage reported that the season-two finale, episode 26, would also miss its planned March 31, 2025 Netflix worldwide release. Its revised date was April 9, 2025, according to the follow-up report. The two reports describe different points in the schedule: the first gave no replacement date for episode 25, while the later update named a date for the finale.
Why was the episode delayed?
The cited reports attributed the postponement to production delays. The headline’s phrase “disappointing update” is editorial framing, not an official description from Netflix. The available reporting does not establish a more specific cause, and it does not provide a safe, attributable Netflix quotation to repeat.

What is My Happy Marriage about?
The anime follows Miyo Saimori and her betrothal to Kiyoka Kudou, blending romance, historical drama, and fantasy. It adapts Akumi Agitogi’s light novel series. Yen Press publishes an official English edition of the novels; readers interested in the source story can look for that edition, checking the specific volume and current listing before buying.
