These are China-market figures reported at those specific times, not dollar-denominated worldwide totals. Moana 2: opening-period estimate, then a billion-dollar milestone
Disney reported that Moana 2 had earned $389 million worldwide as of December 1, 2024, during its opening period. The Associated Press separately reported an opening-period estimate of $386 million. These are dated opening figures from different sources, not the film’s final gross. Disney later announced that the movie had surpassed $1 billion worldwide. Different currencies and reporting scopes
The Korean Film Council’s 2025 year-end review lists Ne Zha 2 as the year’s top global film, with €1.771 billion in worldwide revenue. IMAX gross is a subset, not an extra worldwide total
IMAX reported $166.7 million in IMAX box office for Ne Zha 2 during 2025, the highest figure on its five-film list. Streaming views are not ticket sales
