NASA listed Netflix among several viewing platforms for the event, but current availability of the complete replay is not confirmed by the sources cited here.
When Artemis II’s return coverage aired
NASA scheduled live return coverage to begin at 6:30 p.m. EDT on April 10, 2026. Splashdown was targeted for 8:07 p.m. EDT (5:07 p.m. PDT) off San Diego. NASA’s event page now marks the broadcast as having occurred, and Netflix reported the crew’s splashdown shortly after 8 p.m. EDT.
The event-day schedule described planned milestones, not guaranteed actual timings: Orion’s crew module was scheduled to separate at 7:33 p.m., reach atmospheric interface at 7:53 p.m., deploy drogue parachutes at 8:03 p.m. and main parachutes at 8:04 p.m., then splash down at 8:07 p.m. NASA said recovery teams would retrieve the crew and fly them by helicopter to the USS John P. Murtha.
Where NASA listed the live broadcast
For the April 10 event, NASA listed eight viewing platforms. Netflix was one option, alongside NASA+, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, HBO Max, Discovery+, Peacock and Roku. NASA also said live mission coverage was available on its YouTube channel.

| Netflix | Netflix said its coverage was NASA+ live programming delivered through NASA’s feed. Netflix stated that viewers needed an existing Netflix membership, with no additional subscription for that programming. |
| NASA+ | NASA listed NASA+ as a live coverage route. NASA+’s event listing identifies the April 10 broadcast and says it has already occurred. |
| NASA YouTube | NASA’s Flight Day 10 report said live mission coverage was available on NASA’s YouTube channel. |
| Other platforms named by NASA | Amazon Prime, Apple TV, HBO Max, Discovery+, Peacock and Roku were also listed for the live event. The cited sources do not establish current replay availability on these services. |
Can you watch the full splashdown broadcast now?
The available event and platform announcements do not confirm that the complete splashdown coverage remains on demand in every region. NASA’s event listing links to a livestream page, while Netflix’s retrospective says viewers could watch the lunar flyby afterward; neither statement establishes ongoing availability of the full return broadcast. Check the relevant service’s current listing rather than assuming the live feed is still available.
Netflix’s April 7 explainer said NASA+ remained free through the NASA app and NASA.gov, and described NASA+ live coverage on Netflix. Those details describe the options around the April event, not a guarantee that an archived splashdown stream is currently accessible.
