Henne opened its first Sydney boutique at 215 Glenmore Road in Paddington’s Five Ways in June 2024. The launch brought the Melbourne-founded label to a new market, with founders Nadia Bartel, Laura Broque and Michelle Ring hosting an evening celebration before shopping began on 18 June.
When Henne’s Sydney store opened
The invitation event took place on 13 June 2024, according to Henne’s account of the unveiling. Marie Claire Australia reported on 14 June that the boutique was due to open to shoppers from 18 June; PerthNow’s report on 17 June described the launch and public opening. These were separate moments in the store’s opening, not a current announcement.
In an Instagram caption quoted by PerthNow, Bartel wrote: “We officially open in Paddington today at 10am. Thanks to everyone who made our launch night special. I cannot believe we are actually here! Pinch me!!”
Where the boutique is
The store is at 215 Glenmore Road in Paddington’s Five Ways district. It occupies a 19th-century terrace, a setting that gives the boutique a multi-level layout. Marie Claire Australia’s June 2024 report describes the interior as a collaboration with designer Brahman Perera, with timber details, citrus-coloured perspex accents and a red staircase. Broadsheet’s July 2024 coverage also notes the terrace and the store’s fit-out.

What happened at the launch party
Henne’s first-party account says the founders hosted friends of the brand for an evening celebration, with the exterior draped in chiffon. It describes Belvedere martinis and a Moët & Chandon champagne tower. PerthNow reported finger food, desserts, a live band and speeches at the event.
Those details capture the launch as a hosted celebration as well as a retail opening: the party introduced the store and its founders to guests before the boutique welcomed shoppers.

How Henne described the store’s purpose
Bartel, identified as Henne Director, told Marie Claire Australia that the boutique was intended to be “more than just a retail space”—a place for customers to connect with the brand, attend VIP events and styling sessions, and feel part of an inclusive NSW community. The statement framed the Paddington address as a destination for in-person brand events as well as shopping.

A later report published on 10 August 2026 lists Paddington among Henne’s boutiques, but it is not a live store locator; current hours and operating details are not established here.
