Mykelti Brown said she saw her family together for the first time in years when relatives gathered in Flagstaff, Arizona, for her brother Garrison Brown’s funeral. What did Mykelti say about honoring Garrison later?
Mykelti said the family had additional plans to honor Garrison in the months ahead, including a Brown family reunion in Wyoming. Us Weekly and Yahoo Entertainment reported the plan, but the cited coverage does not confirm whether the reunion or other tributes took place.
She also said Garrison would not have wanted the family to stop living their lives. Us Weekly reported her words: “The thing I know about Garrison is he wouldn’t have wanted us all to stop living our life and stop doing what we need to do and what we want to do.”
