Did Season 2 finish filming?
Netflix Tudum reported that it was with the cast and crew during the final week of filming. Its account places production in Calgary in November, but does not give a specific day when filming wrapped. The available official update therefore confirms that filming had reached its final week, not an exact completion date.

Netflix Tudum’s Season 2 set report also describes the season as an original story. Creator and executive producer Melanie Halsall called it “bigger and better.”
What is Season 2 about, and how does it relate to the book?
Netflix describes Jackie as 16 and trying to work out where she belongs after leaving Silver Falls at the end of Season 1. Season 2 is an original story independent of Ali Novak’s novel. Season 1, by contrast, was based on Novak’s Wattpad novel, My Life with the Walter Boys; the book is source material for the first season, not a guide to Season 2’s plot.

Those are figures reported by Netflix, and the 130 million total applies to the two seasons combined—not Season 2 alone.
